To answer your question, Godaddy does not give free hosting. They give free parking to be exact, if you get domain(s) with them.

They may suck at hosting but if you just want something basic, they give a good price. They don’t exactly suck, if you know what you are doing.

Godaddy is good for domain registeration, but not good for web hosting. The customer service is bad.
